1983 Trans Am. I am the third owner. Car sat for 15 years un-driven because of an unpaid billing issue. 25k original miles. I have the Carfax to prove this. Paint not original of course. Was originally black and gold. No real rust issues. Cross-fire engine. I just drove it on a 70 mile trip. Runs very strong but needs a little TLC. Asking $2900
I purchased this car 35 years ago. Motor has about 375 miles on professional build. Cam, roller rockers, aluminum heads, ceramic headers with electronic cutouts, 780 holly carb, new msd ignition with 373 gears. This car has been babied all its life. I drive it about 150 miles a year. Hate to see it go but it's time. I have all the original parts even motor and exhaust parts. My wheels were stolen back in 1986 but I have everything else. Cold a/c and a good heater working cruise control and the steering wheel controls also function. The vehicle is in overall good condition with signs of wear and tear typical of a vehicle with these miles. Not a rust bucket. Chrome wheels are still shiny and not pitted, good tires. The lock button on the driver control is not functioning. Remote does work. Headlight doors are in working order. Transmission shifts like it should. Overall a good driver. This Macho T/A is #27 of 202 built in 1978. It has one of the most desired color combinations of all the cars built. It has the ultra rare fiberglass lift off hood. This car was recreated many years ago from the original V.I.N. tag and body tag which this car now wears. The original car was totaled in an accident. A low mile original, rust free car was used for the donor car. This car has most of it's original white paint. Some of the parts from the original car were installed. It is still rust free with exception to some very tiny bubbles starting over the left rear wheel. The engine is the correct WC code manual transmission W72 engine. The car runs and drives great. The engine compartment is in undetailed original condition. This is the car used in Phoenix Graphics advertisment. I can answer questions at 801- 518-0378.
