1970 Buick GS (original, not a clone) Selling a 1970 Buick GS - this is an original GS, frame-off restored by the previous owner, approximately 6 years ago. Car is super clean, runs and drives great, I've had it for four years, several road trips back and forth to California from Las Vegas without issue. Replaced the radiator, alternator, and battery during the time I've owned it, also installed new generation 17" Kragers and new tires last year, shocks and coils have been replaced, body was removed and has new rubber gaskets, interior was redone, engine is super clean. Only modification is a flowmaster exhaust, the rims, and eibach shocks to give it a more aggressive stance. Original carb, airbox, engine, trans, etc. - Powertrain has been rebuilt. This is a Buick GS, 5.4L V8 and TH350 trans, RWD. This is a clean car that drives great, no dissapointments. Breaks the rear tires loose, and cruises on the freeway. Car is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, title in hand. We purchased this car from an auction with a salvage title, the hood was dented, no other damage to the car or suspension. The desciption we received was that an overhanging storage rack fell on top of the hood, and resulted in the insurance write-off. We replaced the hood with a factory (steel) GS hood, and painted the car in GM Pearl White. Paint is excellent, was $5000 and reflects like glass, all GM paints (Olympic White, Platinum Ice Tricoat Clear, Inferno Orange Metallic stripes), paint codes are listed under the trunk.

We are offering for sale a beautiful 1970 Buick GSX tribute. The color is aqua mist and gets a lot of compalments especially from the lady's. The paint is very nice and recent. Nice straght car. The 455 motor was receiently rebuilt and is very fast. has about 500 hp. Has a eldebrock performer Buick 455 intake, headers and 3" flowermaster type exhaust. The autometic transmission is a turbo 400 and the rear is posi. Power steering. New battery, brake booster and master cylinder. Brakes are new. The paint shows well and the bumpers were chromed and are show quality. Has the rear wing and hood tack. The vynil roof looks new (no bubbles under it) No bubbles on car body. Under is nice also. Floors, frame, trunk. Interior is excellent. New seat covers, carpet, and sill plates. All professionaly done. All new GSX badges on quarters and in the front grill. It even has the GSX badge above the glove box door as you can see in one of the pics. I took this car to the World Series of Cars in Jamestown, N.Y. just a couple weeks ago and it won a trophy. You are looking at a 1971 Buick GS 350 Convertible. This is one of 599 automatics made. (Total production in 1971 was 656) This classic car is in excellent condition. It has won several local shows and although not a "concours" vehicle, it looks and drives perfectly! This is a numbers matching, original engine and transmission car. I have the original window sticker, owners manual, and Protect-O-Plate. The convertible top was replaced in 1989. It has one small tear on the rear passenger side (see photo). The engine was rebuilt in 1998, new main and rod bearings, complete valve job with hardened seats installed for unleaded fuel. Complete aluminized exhaust system installed in 2001 by Midas. Year one interior, including seats, front and rear, and door panels, front and rear, and carpet were replaced in 2002. Convertible pump and lines replaced in 2002. NOS radiator support, new radiator, wheel well, alternator, and heater core installed in 2003. New rear springs, shocks, air bags and fuel tank gasket installed in 2003. BF Goodrich Radial T/A, 275/60-15 in front and 245/60-15 in rear installed in 2002. (less than 500 miles on them.) Xenon H4 HID Headlights installed in 2003. New A/C compressor installed in 2004. Entire front end rebuilt, including upper and lower control arm bushings, tie rod ends, center link, stabilizer links, front springs, and shocks installed in 2012. New brakes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder installed in 2012. Many other items such as door gaskets, trunk gaskets, decals, emblems etc., have been replaced as well. Up for sale or trade is my 1970 Buick GS clone. Car is originally a Skylark that has had the GS hood, grille and emblems put on. Car has a 442ci big block Buick engines, Muncie M20 4 speed transmission and 8.5 BOP 10 bolt rear with GM posi, 3.23 gears,and bolt in axles. The entire drivetrain has no more than 4500 miles since built. The block is a 68 430 block. It was bored .062 to use standard 454 Chevy rings. The pistons are custom Diamond forged pieces($1000.00). It has had the main oil suction, and main oil pressure line from the pump drilled as Buick engines should have done. TA full groove cam bearings. Oil pump set up correctly. (great oil pressure) Stock crank turned 10/10. Stock rods with ARP bolts and resized. Bottom end balanced. TA 290-08H cam. TA SP1 intake. 68 430 big port heads. RobbMc 550 horse mechanical fuel pump. ATI super damper, 850 Holley DP with no choke. Older Poston long tube headers. Pypes stainless 3in exhaust with X pipe. Steel flywheel, Centerforce dual friction clutch. All ARP hardware there. Hurst Super street shifter. Muncie M20. Fresh rebuilt with some upgraded parts. 8.5 BOP 10 bolt with bolt in axles. GM posi with 3.23 gears. All fresh. This entire drivetrain has maybe 4500 miles on it. Car was just dynoed at 342 horse, and 412 ft pds torque at the wheels. Rechrome bumpers front and rear. New Weld Prostar wheels and tires. New Procar bucket seats and aftermarket center console. New carpet. Does have a crack in the dash pad. Car does not have power steering or power brakes. Its a big cammed car, and it is a bit temperamental, but it is fast, loud and fun. Gets plenty of looks going down the road. I do believe there is some filler in the quarters.I cant say how much, because I didnt do the work. The body and paint as you see are how it was when I bought it. I changed basically everything else. There is rust in the trunk that will need to be dealt with at some point. The color is Bamboo Cream which is an actual GM color. The roof I believe is original. Its not in real bad shape, but is pulled up some around the back window. A replacement would make it look much better. I replaced a few area of floors when I went through it. Used actual repro pans, not sheet metal, and fully welded as they should be. The entire underneath of the car was then blasted and painted with POR15. Frame is very nice. No bad spots, and nothing even close to being bad. Boxed rear lower control arms, and no hop bars in the rear. New suspension bushings throughout. Kyb shocks all around. Car does not have power steering or power brakes. I am open to trades of other classic cars and trucks as well. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you have.
