This Buick lacrosse needs nothing- I repeat this car NEEDS NOTHING! We have owned it for two years and have logged 60K miles, and the only thing out of the ordinary we have replaced are the front hubs and wiring harnesses for the hubs, which were both replaced within the last year. Other parts replaced were the water pump at 100K or so, spark plugs and wires, front rotors and pads at 95K or so. Drives straight and true and no steering wheel shimmy when the brakes are applied. Transmission and engine operate as good as a new car- smooth as silk. I am fanatical about all the fluids on a vehicle, so oil was changed every 3-5K and miles were mostly highway, coolant flushed about a year ago, power steering fluid flushed at same time, as well as brake lines. We had a GM dealer replace the transmission fluid about a year ago. We are non smokers and I am confident the previous owner was as well. No foul odors at all . Tires have decent amount of tread left, and the battery is a one year old Interstate Mega-Tron 2. The body has no rust, however, the front right fender has some crinkling, and there is a ding under the left rear door handle. Other than that, the body is excellent. Concerning the salvage history- I purchased this two years ago from a dealer, and the only part(s) they replaced was a electronic control box. They also pulled the carpet and seats and cleaned them, but that was it. The water had come up to the bottom of the seats. When I initially looked at it, and examined the fluid I was relieved to see that the fluids had not been changed, thereby possibly hiding the fact that water had contaminated the engine oil and transmission fluid. The fluids looked like normal fluids, a little dirty, with no water present at all, so it was clear to me that no water had entered the engine or transmission. It never had any kind of strange odor, then or now, and it has been a very reliable car for us, with only routine maintenance and the water pump and front hubs replacement. We have never experienced anything out of the ordinary electronically either- no strange fault codes or unexplained lights on the instrument cluster. We are simply looking to purchase a newer vehicle, nothing more. Call me if you wish 937-286-2048 BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
