For sale is my 1998 BMW M3 convertible, 106,xxx miles, automatic transmission. Cosmos black over Mulberry grey. The good:-Brand new rear tires (Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06).-Brand new brakes on all four corners (OEM rotors with Hawk HPS pads).-Rebuilt front calipers.-New rear vinyl window. In the last two years of ownership I have replaced the following components:-Radiator-Thermostat (the housing is original but shows no signs of fatigue or cracks)-Sway bar end-links-Sparkplugs-Valve cover gasket-Camshaft position sensor-Serpentine belts, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley-Regular oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic 0w-40 -The car recently underwent a professional paint correction by TLC Auto Detailing in Chantilly, VA.-I have an extra M Contour wheel that is scratched but suitable for a spare, in addition to the full-size spare the car has already.-Inspected 07/15. The not so good:-All of the power seat adjustments work flawlessly except for the driver and passenger seatback height adjustments. The fuses are good, and my testing on the passenger side seatback motor revealed it's getting ground and power (a full 12.6 volts) from the switch. Neither motor makes noise when you attempt to move the seats. Based on the above, I suspect both motors are bad.-The convertible top operates well, but you occasionally have to give it a hand by pushing on the rear window so the top-storage cover clears it on its way up. The tension straps that normally pull the window up are slightly stretched.-The car sometimes throws a code for "Secondary air system," which means the secondary air pump is on its way out. I have not addressed this issue because it doesn't affect performance at all; the function of the secondary air pump is simply to lower startup emissions.

I have for sale a very clean M5. Great color combo. I've added 20" Mint forged wheels with Hankook tires and painted calipers, led halos, front spoiler (can paint to your color choice). I am the second owner and have owned it for over 4 years. No problems--I have paid for no repairs in the time I've owned it. I have replaced wiper blades, hood struts, and the battery. That's it. I've taken care of it and it's taken care of me. Spark plugs replaced at 30k, next due at 60k. I have service records/books/window sticker-$95500. I have original wheels with Bridgestone Pole Position tires if you prefer, take your choice. both sets have 8/32 rubber left.
